About Ed Starzenski, our speaker at this week's meeting:
I am beginning my 12th year as the principal of Briar Woods High School. I began my career in the Loudoun County Public Schools in 1989 as the principal of Loudoun County High School. I was the principal there for 15 years. Prior to coming to Loudoun County, I served as the principal at Washington High School in Washington, Pennsylvania for 6 years.
I received my undergraduate degree from California University in California, Pennsylvania. I received my master’s degree in educational administration from West Virginia University.
I live in Leesburg with my wife Ann. I have 2 children. My daughter, Laura graduated from Duke University. She will be going on to med school at UVA. My son, David is a sophomore at Virginia Tech.
